Self Service Registers - Boycott them !!!

Sure those self service registers may look like the quickest

way out of the store but think about it.....

Every one you see represents a lost job, and if it's a 24 hour store, it's 3 lost jobs.

The average Walmart has 20 of them. That's 60 people without a job.

60 jobs at $10.63 an hour is $6,123 a day or $2.2 MILLION a year EACH Walmart puts in their pocket.

There are 4,743 Walmarts in the U.S. alone. That's 8.8 BILLION Dollars a year !!

Are they passing on the savings to you?  NO !!!

Walmart may not be unionized, BUT WE ARE !!!

Let a cashier ring up your groceries !

 UPDATE: Walmart continues to get worse - more self serve registers and fewer cashiers resulting in longer lines. The local store has 4 real checkout lines and have 2 or less open at any one time. My advice? Load a cart full of random groceries and just leave it at the registers. Maybe they'll get the hint !!!
